What’s been happening:

After retiring from 33 years as an engineering manager, I returned to school to study nutrition. While studying for my master's degree, I was accepted to a dietetic internship at the VA Hospital in West Los Angeles. I then went on to become a registered dietitian and worked at the VA managing an outpatient clinic. From there, I was hired to coordinate a grant designed to develop a diabetes prevention program for American Indian veterans, a program that was very rewarding and often, very emotional. With that completed, I was hired by the Motion Picture Hospital and Clinic to supervise nutrition for five of their centers. And lastly, I was just elected co-president of the Los Angeles Dietetic Association. On a personal level, I'm divorced and have no children.
